Boulevard Gardens Wedding Film

Boulevard Gardens in Indooroopilly is a garden venue with a fountain, an arbour and three reception rooms, close to the city without feeling like it. Here is how two of those days looked on film.

About Boulevard Gardens

Boulevard Gardens is a formal garden at Indooroopilly, built around a fountain, an arbour and walls of clipped greenery. It gives a clean, green backdrop that is easy to light and easy to move around.

Your wedding day at Boulevard Gardens

The ceremony. The vows are made under the arbour in the garden, with the fountain behind and a wet-weather ceremony space if the sky turns.

Portraits. In my films here the couple is set against a wall of clipped cypress with a stone balustrade, and against old red brick with a protea bouquet in the frame. The courtyard, the ivy and the fountain give three different looks within a few steps.

The reception. Three reception rooms, each with a dance floor and a bar, are a short walk from the ceremony, so the day stays on one site.

Why couples choose it

It suits couples who want a proper garden ceremony and a full reception in one place, without travelling far from Brisbane. Having everything on one site keeps the day simple for your guests, and a choice of rooms means a smaller wedding does not feel lost in a large space.

What couples say

Couples single out the garden ceremony area as a favourite for photos. They say the staff are responsive and that planning felt smooth and stress free, with questions answered quickly. Guests often comment on how good the food tasted, and couples describe it as good value for a smaller wedding.

Filming a wedding at Boulevard Gardens

With Hannah & Josh, I filmed moments like a soft close-up of the bride smiling with the groom beside her, a red brick building behind. Read their story.

With Emily & Rhys, I filmed moments like the groom kissing the bride's cheek in front of clipped green hedges, her white peony bouquet in the foreground. Read their story.

The photo spots here are the arbour, the fountain, the ivy-covered corners and the courtyard, all within the one garden. There is a wet-weather ceremony space, and it is worth looking at it in advance, because indoor light is very different from the garden and it changes how photographers and videographers plan the ceremony.

With the ceremony, the courtyard and the reception all in one spot, the day flows easily and we can spend more of it on you rather than on moving between locations. I will ask which reception room you have booked so I can plan around the lighting and the dance floor, and we will talk through the wet-weather plan early so you are not deciding on the morning.
