Factory 51 Wedding Film

Factory 51 is a converted warehouse at Coorparoo, with exposed brick, polished concrete and a crystal chandelier hanging in the centre of the room.

The ceremony. The ceremony and the reception are held in the same room, with the chandelier overhead.

Portraits. In my film here, the couple kisses under a tree branch in a leafy garden corner, with brightly coloured buildings softly blurred behind them. A private laneway is used for drinks and photos, and Kangaroo Point Cliffs and the Story Bridge are close.

The reception. The room is climate controlled and soundproofed, so the evening, the speeches and the dancing all happen in one space.

Inside, the exposed brick, polished concrete and soft ambient lighting give a lot of texture but not a lot of light, so photographers and videographers plan their lighting for the room. There is a private laneway for drinks and portraits, and Kangaroo Point Cliffs, the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens, the Story Bridge and Seven Hills Bushland Reserve are close for a change of backdrop without taking you away from your guests for long.
