About Hampton Estate Wines

Hampton Estate is a winery on Mount Tamborine with a Glasshouse, open lawns and views across the hinterland to the Gold Coast.

Your wedding day at Hampton Estate Wines

The ceremony. The ceremony is held in the Glasshouse, which has 360-degree views of the hinterland, or out on the Green.

Portraits. In my film here, the groom carries his bride across a wide green lawn with tall dark trees behind, easy, open and playful. The whisky bar has warm brick and timber for a moodier set of portraits.

The reception. Receptions are held in the Glasshouse, in Hampton House, a refurbished church, or in the whisky bar for something more intimate.

Why couples choose it

Couples choose Hampton Estate for a winery wedding in the hills, a short drive from the Gold Coast but cooler and greener. Staying on the property means no long trip home at the end of the night, and the vines, the glass and the mountain views make a relaxed, elegant backdrop.

What couples say

Couples describe the venue as breathtaking and say the team made the day flow beautifully. They talk about hosts who put their hearts into the wedding, and guests who raved about the food and the wine and made the most of the on-site cottages.

Filming a wedding at Hampton Estate Wines

With Nicole & Michael, I filmed moments like the groom carrying the bride across a green lawn, a white bouquet in her hand and bush behind. Read their story.

The Glasshouse has 360-degree views of the hinterland and the Gold Coast, the Green is a second ceremony spot and the whisky bar has warm red brick and timber that suits moody portraits. You have exclusive use of the grounds, so there is room to move between the spaces, and there is a plan for wet weather. Glass and vines mean bright light, so I would plan the ceremony and portraits to avoid hard midday sun.

Glass and vines mean beautiful, bright light, and a mountain can bring its own weather, so we will plan for both. I will ask where you want the ceremony and where you want the portraits among the vines, and we can set aside a few quiet minutes there in the golden hour.
