Landmark Restaurant Wedding Film

Landmark is a Cantonese restaurant at Sunnybank Plaza in Brisbane's south, with chandeliers and Chinese touches in the room.

Getting ready. Both couples I filmed here began the day with tea ceremonies, a beautiful tradition to film in the morning.

The ceremony. The wedding ceremonies were held elsewhere, one at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church and one with a heart-shaped aisle, and the day came to Landmark for the banquet.

Portraits. Portraits were taken around the city, including Cloudland, in my film of one of the couples.

The reception. The banquet is held in the main room, with its chandeliers, for family and friends at round tables.

Couples choose Landmark for a traditional Cantonese wedding banquet in an elegant room, with family on every table and the food at the centre of the celebration.

A banquet room is busy and loud, so I plan my cameras and audio for the speeches and the entrance carefully, and the tea ceremonies and portraits earlier in the day. Ceremonies and portraits are usually elsewhere, so we plan the travel and the timing around them.
