Noosa Marina Wedding Film

Noosa Marina is a working marina on the river at Tewantin, with boats, a boardwalk and open water behind.

The ceremony. The River Deck has an exclusive ceremony deck with an open backdrop over the water.

Portraits. In my film here, the couple stands in silhouette against an orange sunset, the groom in a wide-brimmed hat. The boardwalk and the boats add variety.

The reception. The River Deck Restaurant hosts the reception, indoors or outdoors.

Couples choose a marina wedding for the water: boats, a wide river and big skies, and an easy location for guests close to Noosa. It suits a relaxed, nautical celebration without feeling formal.

Ceremony, portraits and reception are all in the one place, and guests walk hand in hand from the ceremony deck to the reception. I could not find sunset-specific guidance, so ask which side of the deck gets the best light in the evening.

On the water the light is open and wind can be a factor, so I will plan audio for your ceremony and the timing for the best light. The marina gives you plenty of variety for portraits, from the boardwalk to the boats.
