Noosa Waterfront Wedding Film

Noosa Waterfront is a private venue on the Noosa River at Noosaville, under old Moreton Bay fig trees. Here is how a wedding there looked on film.

About Noosa Waterfront

Noosa Waterfront sits on the Noosa River under large Moreton Bay fig trees, and the whole day stays in one place.

Your wedding day at Noosa Waterfront

The ceremony. The ceremony is held in the grounds under the figs, beside the river.

Portraits. In my film here, the couple shares a kiss beside a railing with soft green trees and water behind them. The river bank and the shade of the figs give calm, even light.

The reception. The reception is held on the same property, with cocktail or seated dinner options.

Why couples choose it

Couples choose Noosa Waterfront for the river: calm water, big trees and the Noosa lifestyle on your doorstep, with a venue team that looks after the food and the setting. It is close to the restaurants and accommodation of Noosaville, which makes things easy for guests.

What couples say

Couples and guests remember it for the wonderful location, the food and the wines, the service and the warm atmosphere.

The path that guests walk down is lined with Moreton Bay figs, and visitors describe a sense of quiet anticipation as they arrive. Ceremonies are held on the lawn in the shade of the trees, with guests barefoot in the grass.

Filming a wedding at Noosa Waterfront

With Bree & Joey, I filmed moments like a kiss beside a railing, with soft green trees and water behind. Read their story.

The Moreton Bay figs filter the light into a dappled pattern over the lawn, and ceremonies can be held on the grass beside the restaurant. Guests can arrive by boat along the river, which makes a distinctive shot. Your wedding has the venue to itself on the day, which means no strangers in group photos. Ask about access to the jetty and the river edge, and check the direction of the sunset on the water.

River light and fig tree shade make beautiful portraits, but they also create strong contrast, so I will plan the ceremony time and my positions with that in mind. I will ask early about the plan for a wet day.
