Palazzo Versace Wedding Film

Palazzo Versace is a large waterfront hotel at Main Beach on the Gold Coast with a private marina and views over the Broadwater.

Portraits. In my film here, the couple holds each other close in warm, low evening light among the trees, with a red and pink rose bouquet in the frame, a quiet moment away from the main rooms. The marina and the waterfront are the obvious places for portraits.

The reception. The hotel has several private rooms for receptions and its own wedding coordinator.

Couples choose this venue for a luxury Gold Coast wedding with a sense of occasion: grand rooms, a waterfront setting and a hotel that can look after the guests. It suits couples who want a glamorous day with a full-service team.

Couples choose it for exclusivity and privacy: one couple closed off the hotel's beach for the event, and others have hosted a three-day weekend for their closest guests, with a feast the day before and a day by the pool. Some chose it because they had always gone there to celebrate.

The grounds include the waterfront, the marina and a very long pool, but I could not find any published guidance on where photographers and videographers can work. Ask the events team whether the waterfront and marina are open for portraits, whether vendors need to sign an agreement, and whether there are time or drone restrictions.
