Preston Peak Winery Wedding Film

Preston Peak is a working winery near Toowoomba with a glass pavilion and views over the Lockyer Valley and the Darling Downs.

Getting ready. A cottage and two houses on the property are used for getting ready.

Portraits. The vines are a natural place for portraits in the last hour of light.

The reception. The glass pavilion hosts the reception in any weather.

After dark. In my film here, the couple dances close at night among trees strung with fairy lights, a haze of smoke around them.

Couples choose Preston Peak for a winery wedding close to Toowoomba, with the vines and the valley as a backdrop and a covered space that works whatever the sky is doing. It is an easy choice for guests travelling from Brisbane and the Lockyer Valley.

The glass pavilion works in any weather, and the property looks across to Table Top Mountain, the Lockyer Valley and the Darling Downs. A cottage is close to the pavilion for wedding preparations. Outdoor pavilions can pick up wind noise, so I plan audio for the vows.

A glass pavilion with vineyard views gives you soft, bright light and a lovely backdrop for the reception, and the vines are a natural place for portraits at the end of the day. Toowoomba's evenings cool quickly, so we will plan the timeline with a little time in the golden hour.
