RACV Royal Pines Resort Wedding Film

Royal Pines is a resort at Benowa with its own timber and marble chapel, landscaped gardens and lakes.

The ceremony. The chapel has Australian timbers, Italian marble floors and stained glass windows, and the chapel steps, framed by poinciana trees, make an outdoor alternative.

Portraits. In my film here, the couple's portrait is made in warm golden-hour light with the garden blurred into soft gold behind them. Wedding buggies take the bridal party on a photo tour of the resort.

The reception. The Royal Poinciana Room looks over the golf course.

Couples choose Royal Pines for a resort wedding with a proper chapel and a traditional feel, with golf course views and accommodation for everyone. It is straightforward and well organised, and the Gold Coast sunshine rarely disappoints.

The chapel steps are framed by poinciana trees, and the gardens and resort lakes make an easy portrait backdrop. The package includes wedding buggies for a bridal party photo tour around the resort, and the chapel is the wet-weather fallback for outdoor ceremonies. The stained glass in the chapel throws coloured light, so exposure needs care, and I would ask the coordinator about the sound system for the vows.
