Ricky's Restaurant and Bar Wedding Film

Ricky's is a waterfront restaurant and bar on the Noosa River, with views over the water and the sunsets.

The ceremony. The riverfront park next door, Quamby Park, is a popular ceremony spot. Shanai & James were married at Noosa's Hidden Grove and came to Ricky's for the reception.

Portraits. In my film here, the couple laughs together on a rocky beach, her arms around his neck. The river, the jetty and the park give plenty of backdrops, and the sunset over the water is the highlight.

The reception. The reception is held in the private dining room and bar, and the venue's private jetty allows an arrival by boat.

Couples choose Ricky's for a Noosa wedding right on the river: a reception with the water in front of it, a ceremony in the park next door and the chance to arrive by boat.

River light changes quickly at sunset, so I plan the portraits for when the sun is low over the water and the audio for an outdoor ceremony beside the river. If the ceremony is somewhere else in Noosa, we plan the travel and the timing between the ceremony and the reception.
